When is the last time you saw a security camera and asked yourself, “Is it real or fake?” If the answer is
“never,” then don't feel bad. The natural tendency when you notice a security camera is to assume that it is real.
That’s what the owners of fake security cameras want to hear.
Security cameras are a very useful way to discourage criminals because they are rarely questioned. So why not “fake
‘em out” with the fake security camera. Bogus cameras offer several benefits over real security cameras. Normally, dummy
security cameras are used in addition to real security cameras.
Authentic security cameras are probably preferable, but when a security budget is a concern, bogus cameras can be used to expand the
security perimeter. Type and placement of the fake cameras should be a consideration. The type of fake camera should blend in and resemble the
real cameras in the vicinity. The bogus security camera should be visible, or that the real cameras are less visible than the fake ones.
Phony security cameras provide several benefits over authentic cameras. The fake ones are lower costs, virtually maintenance free and
don't require a connection to electricity or a security network. Many dummy cameras can include a fake cable that looks real and adds
authenticity to the phony cameras appearance. Many dummy cameras actually are housed in an actual security camera frame but don't have any of the
inner workings of the real thing.
Fake security cameras can deter and intimidate just by being present and are just as effective as the real ones for a fraction of the
price. The bad guys will never know they are not the real thing if no one tells them. Bogus security cameras are affordable and realistic
and will protect your home, office, or business just like the real thing.
